The criminal case initiated on illegal procurement and keeping of narcotic drugs by Andranik Harutyunyan – «thief in law» famous for nickname «Andik» in the criminal world was received in the proceeding of the Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Nork administrative districts of the RA Investigative Committee.

Pursuant to initial data, through search conducted in Andranik Harutyunyan's residence on June 20, 2018 a plastic container with a note «NEXIUM» on it was found in which there were 9 pills with the letter «M» as well as white crystallized mass was found in the living-room.
 

Pursuant to the result of forensic chemical examination N 289 Ք-18 the white crystallized mass was narcotic drug of «Methadone» type of 0.24 grams. Narcotic drug of «Methadone» type was also found in 9 pills in which the total weight of «Methadone» was 0.09 grams.

A criminal case was initiated in the RA Police according to the Part 1 of the Article 266 and the Part 1 of the Article 268 of RA Criminal Code which today was received in the RA IC Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Nork administrative districts.

Andranik Harutyunyan was arrested on suspicion of illegal keeping of narcotic drugs.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
