THE SYSTEM OF THE RA INVESTIGATIVE COMMITTEE

The system of the Investigative Committee includes the Central office of the Investigative Committee, General Military Investigative Department, Investigative Department of Yerevan, Regional Investigative Departments.

The subdivisions of the central office of the Investigative Committee are the general departments of the central office, the departments of the central office and the divisions of the central office, professional support departments and professional support divisions. The subdivisions of the General Military Investigative Department are the departments, garrison investigative units, professional support divisions of the General Military Investigative Department. The subdivisions of the Investigative Department of Yerevan are the divisions, professional support divisions and investigative divisions of the administrative districts, professional support divisions of the Investigative Department of Yerevan. The subdivisions of regional investigative departments are the territorial divisions, professional support divisions of the regional investigative department. The subject subdivisions of the general departments of the central office of the Investigative Committee are the departments of general departments.

The heads of the General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the Central Office and General Military Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee are ex officio deputies Chairman of the Investigative Committee.

The employees of professional support units of the Investigative Committee and the Secretary General are civil servants to whom the Law “On Civil Service” applies.
