Activity

The Qualification Commission of the RA Investigative Committee (hereafter referred to as the Commission) consists of 9 members. According to the Article 15 of RA Law “On RA Investigative Committee”, the Qualification Commission consists of one of the Deputies Chairman of the Investigative Committee (hereafter referred to as the Committee), 4 officials of the Committee, 4 legal scholars.

The task of the Commission is to provide

  • The process of conducting written and oral examinations for the replenishment of the list of candidates of those holding autonomous position in the Committee, filing in a questionnaire, replenishment of the list of candidates,
  • The process of attestation of those holding autonomous position in the Committee subject to attestation,
  • Testing of practical and theoretical skills of those holding autonomous position in the Committee,
  • Formation of the list of promotion of those holding autonomous position in the Committee,
  • Fulfillment of authorities envisaged by the Points 12 to 19 of the Part 1 of the Article 6 of the RA Law “On Academy of Justice”.

    Works of the Commission are organized through sessions.

    The sessions of the Commission are valid if at least more than half of the members are present at it. The decisions are made by simple majority of votes of the members who have participated in voting. In case the votes are equal, the vote of the Head of the Commission is decisive.

The procedures of organization of the work of the Commission, including the replenishment of the list of candidates of those holding autonomous position in the Committee, attestation and formation of the lists of promotion are regulated by the order N 171-L of the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee dated December 15, 2021.
