Charges pressed against Head and Deputy Head of Qaghsi community; criminal case sent to court

Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on abusing official position, squandering committed by the Head and Deputy Head of Qaghsi community of Kotayq region was completed in Kotayq Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.
 

According to preliminary investigation data, the Head of Qaghsi community of Kotayq region S. Aleqsanyan and Deputy Head A. Hambardzumyan, made inflated amount of damage caused to property of the community, as well as to villagers by strong wind on November 14, 2015 in Qaghsi community, formed forged acts with added data, and based on them received money inflicting significant damage to legal interests of the state.
 

In the result of investigatory actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case the way, volume of abuses, as well as the frame of actions of the Head and Deputy Head of community was found.  
 

On the base of the evidence obtained during pretrial proceeding charge was pressed against S. Aleqsanyan according to the Part 1 of the Article 308 of RA Criminal Code (abuse of official authority), the Part 1 of the Article 314 (official forgery) (2 counts), the Parts 1 of the Article 38-308 and the Article 38-314, the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 179 (squandering or embezzlement of somebody’s property in significant amount entrusted to a person by using official position), the Points 1 and 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 179 (squandering or embezzlement of somebody’s property of large amount entrusted to a person by using official position).
 

A. Hambardzumyan was charged according to the Part 1 of the Article 308 and the Part 1 of the Article 314 of RA Criminal Code.
 

The criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to Court of First Instance of Kotayq region.
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
