15.000 AMD Received for Participating in Rally of “Strong Armenia” Party

In the course of the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated in Armavir Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee, apparent factual data were obtained on the allegation that a group of people received 15․000 AMD for participating in the rally organized by “Strong Armenia” Party.

Particularly, N.T., being aware of the rally organized by “Strong Armenia” Party in “Azatutyun” square of Yerevan, in April, 2026, organized the process of involving a large number of individuals by materially motivating them.

For the stated purpose, N.T. informed his friend G.A. about the need to carry out the process of recruiting individuals to participate in the rally in exchange for payment, promising to pay each participant 15,000 AMD for attending the rally. G.A., in turn, agreeing to ensure both his own presence and the presence of a group of other individuals at the mentioned rally, being materially motivated and thereby influencing the expression of will of a group of his acquaintances, informed them that each person would be paid 15.000 AMD for participating in the rally.

As a result, G.A., together with a group of people, participated in the rally organized by “Strong Armenia” Party, and after the conclusion of the rally, received from a person designated by N.T. the promised payment for his own participation and for the participation of the individuals recruited by him. Subsequently, he paid each of those individuals 15.000 AMD from that amount.

In the course of the preliminary investigation a dozen of searches were conducted, as a result of which a hunting gun kept illegally, as well as a cannabis-like substance was found.

Public criminal prosecution was initiated against G.A. according to the Part 2 of the Article 236, and against N.T. - according to the Part 2 of the Article 46-236 of RA Criminal Code.

Detention was applied as a pretrial measure against G.A. and N.T..
