Murder Committed on March 6, 2026 in Shengavit Disclosed

As a result of numerous evidentiary and procedural actions conducted in the course of the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated in Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on murder committed on Mach 6, 2026 in Shengavit administrative district, the foreign citizen having committed apparent murder was found.

In the course of the preliminary investigation it was found out that the person, motivated by hatred and with extreme cruelty, stabbed the victim on various parts of his body, killing him.

Public criminal prosecution was initiated against I.A. according to the Points 6 and 15 of the Part 2 of the Article 155 of RA Criminal Code.

Detention was applied as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding is ongoing.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
