Murder Committed in Qanaqer-Zeytun on March 8, 2026 Disclosed

 

In the course of the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated in Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee, case of murder committed in Qanaqer-Zeytun on March 8, 2026 was disclosed. 

Particularly, during the preliminary investigation it was grounded that on March 8, 2026 at the area of the administrative district of Qanaqer-Zeytun the victim argued with his friend A.S., during which the latter stabbed the victim on his back and abdomen with a knife that was with him, killing him, after which he fled. 

Public criminal prosecution was initiated against A.S. according to the Part 1 of the Article 155 of RA Criminal Code. 

On March 9, 2026 the person having apparently committed murder was arrested and then detained.  

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
