A Board session was held today headed by Artur Poghosyan, during which the Chairman of the Investigative Committee introduced Gevorg Khalatyan, the newly appointed Deputy Head of General Department for Investigation of Crimes against the State, Fundamentals of the Constitutional Order and Public Security.

The Board members and leaders of the structural subdivisions took part in the session.

During the session, referring to the key role of General Department for Investigation of Crimes against the State, Fundamentals of the Constitutional Order and Public Security, Artur Poghosyan expressed hope that the deputy head would conscientiously carry out the tasks assigned to the general department.

Gevorg Khalatyan expressed gratitude to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee and assured that he would make every effort to properly organize and conduct preliminary investigations of criminal proceedings investigated at the general department.
