In the course of the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee, it was found out that D.D. and K.H., disguised, approached T.M., who had got out of the car, and presented themselves as Police officers.

Then, threatening to use violence with a civilian-made self-loading carbine, they handcuffed T.M. and placed him in the same car, where passenger K.A. was also present, then drove through various streets of the Vanadzor community under the false pretext of conducting additional checks. 

After searching the cabin and trunk and finding nothing, about an hour later D.D. and K.H released K.A. from the car, and a few hours after that, also released T.M., under threat of violence seizing the car belonging to the latter, which was valued at 3,500,000 AMD.

During the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding public criminal prosecution was initiated against D.D. and K.H. according to the Points 5 and 7 of the Part 2 of the Article 191, the Points 3, 5 and 7 of the Part 2 of the Article 252, and the Part 1 of the Article 335 of RA Criminal Code.

Detention was applied as a pretrial measure against them.

The criminal proceeding with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor for approval and referral to court.
