The Chairman of the Investigative Committee Artur Poghosyan Received the Head of the Council of Europe Office in Armenia
On September 9 Artur Poghosyan, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, received Maxime Longlangue, the Head of the Council of Europe Office in Armenia.
Artur Poghosyan expressed his gratitude to Maxime Longlangue for the continued support provided by the Council of Europe to Armenia’s law enforcement system.
the Head of the Council of Europe Office in Armenia also expressed gratitude to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee for his willingness and multifaceted cooperation.
During the meeting, programs aimed at enhancing the capacities of investigators were discussed, along with directions for deepening cooperation-particularly in the areas of cybercrime prevention and detection, improvement of the child and minor protection system, and the introduction of new technologies in the Investigative Committee.
The parties stated that there is a strong foundation of cooperation between the Investigative Committee and the Council of Europe Office, serving as a basis for new initiatives.
At the conclusion of the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize joint training programs aimed at enhancing the professional capacities of investigators.
