250 Million AMD of Damage Caused to State Recovered

 

In the course of preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated in General Department for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Smuggling of the RA Investigative Committee, it was found out that a company engaged in wholesale and retail trade of construction materials underdeclared the sales turnover during the period of 2021 to 2024, and undercalculated taxes payable to the state budget.

In the result of procedural and evidentiary actions conducted within the framework of the criminal proceeding 250 million AMD of the damage caused to the state has been recovered. 

Preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding is ongoing. 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
