Corruption-Related Crimes․ First Term of 2025

 

In the first term of 2025 508 criminal proceedings on corruption-related crimes were investigated in the RA Investigative Committee (949 in 2024), 358 of which had been transferred from 2024 (647 in 2023). 

In the reporting period 29 of the mentioned 508 criminal proceedings on 72 people with the bill of indictment were sent to court (32 criminal proceedings on 60 people in 2024), 71 criminal proceedings were terminated (132 in 2024), 41 of which on rehabilitative (104 in 2024), and 30 on non-rehabilitative base (28 in 2024), 30 were registered as ones within which procedural and evidentiary actions were conducted (36 in 2024), 121 were sent to other structures (112 in 2024), 29 were combined (37 in 2024), and 228 were transferred to the second term of 2025 (600 in 2024). 

The pecuniary damage within the completed criminal proceedings on corruption-related crimes made 8 billion 879 million 329 thousand AMD, 2 billion 213 million 514 AMD or 24.9% of which has been recovered during the pretrial proceeding. A ban was imposed to the property worth 968 million AMD (in 2024 pecuniary damage of 4 billion 608 million 759 thousand AMD, 685 million 958 thousand AMD of which was recovered):
