In the course of preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated in Shirak Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee apparent factual data were obtained on the allegation that the head of the pediatric department of “Gyumri’s Mother and Child’s Austrian Hospital” together with nurses, under the pretext of providing medical care within the framework of a state order, formally registered various children in hospital and swindled money in particularly large amount by fraud. 

In the course of preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding it was found out that the officials of “Gyumri’s Mother and Child’s Austrian Hospital” submitted forged medical records for payment to the unified electronic healthcare information system, swindling money in particularly large amount, 11 million 26 thousand 100 AMD.

In the course of preliminary investigation 10 million 159 thousand AMD of the damage has been recovered․
