Preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated on materially motivating people in order to force participation in the rally organized in Yerevan on July 4, 2025, was completed in Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee. 

In the course of preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding apparent factual data were obtained on the allegation that in order to force to participate in the rally a group of people materially motivated numerous residents of various regions of the RA.

Public criminal prosecution was initiated against two persons according to the Part 2 of the Article 236, against one person according to the Part 2 of the Article 46-236 of RA Criminal Code. 
Detention was applied as a pretrial measure against two persons. 

The criminal proceeding on the latters’ part with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor for approval and referral to court.
