The Deputy Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee had Meetings with the Minister and Vice Minister of the Public Security of the People's Republic of China within the Framework of the World Forum for Public Security Cooperation in China (photos)

The delegation headed by the Deputy Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Arsen Ayvazyan, at the invitation of the Chinese party, took part in conference 2023 of the World Forum for Public Security Cooperation held in the city of Lianyungang of the People’s Republic of China.

Contemporary global and public security challenges, perspectives for increasing the effectiveness of international cooperation in the fight against transnational crimes were discussed within the framework of the forum.

Within the reception of national delegations the Minister of Public Security of the People's Republic of China Wang Xiaohong had a meeting with the Deputy Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee during which the importance of the forum was underlined in terms of universal aspirations to make the world safer.

The Deputy Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee also had a meeting with the First Vice Minister of the Public Security of the People's Republic of China Xu Ganlu.

During the meeting the parties got acquainted with the functions of each other’s structures, discussed the possible directions and perspectives of cooperation development between the RA Investigative Committee and the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China.

Both sides expressed a desire to activate the dialogue in the direction of deepening cooperation in rendering mutual legal assistance. Importance was attached especially to the necessity of applying effective mechanisms to join the efforts in fight against cyber crimes, illegal turnover of narcotic drugs and organized crime, to exchange information. 

Arsen Ayvazyan underlined that the response of the law enforcement agencies of China to all requests for mutual legal assistance submitted by the RA Investigative Committee has always been prompt and no request has been left unfulfilled which instills additional confidence in the expansion and effectiveness of the partnership.

Mr. Xu Ganlu expressed satisfaction that on behalf of the Deputy Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Armenia also was taking part in the mentioned world forum, expressing willingness to make cooperation frameworks and formats more objective on which agreements were reached.
