Serviceman Arman Hakobyan Received Fatal Firearm Injury as a Result of Shot Fired by Enemy
On 16 August, 2021 at about 18:00 in the combat base located in protection area of the unit N of the RA Ministry of Defense located at the administrative area of the community of Kut of Gegharkunik Marz as a result of the shot fired by the enemy the serviceman of compulsory military service Arman Hovhannes Hakobyan received a fatal firearm injury on the head.
A criminal case was initiated in regard with the fact in the Fifth Garrison Investigative Unit of the General Military Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Points 2, 7 and 13 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code.
Preliminary investigation is underway.
