One more Member of Group with Criminal Subculture Detained, Public Criminal Prosecution Initiated against Group Leader

Large-scale investigative and procedural actions are being conducted in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee together with the employees of the RA National Security Service, RA Prosecutor’s Office and RA Police to find out all circumstances of participation and involvement in the group with criminal subculture.

As it was already informed, E.J. having the highest status in the criminal hierarchy of "thief in law" and known as “Ero Tomski” managed the group with criminal subculture created by him; he gave instructions to the members of the group with criminal subculture to perform actions directed to the realization of the goals pursued by the group, as well as using his authority made “decisions” on acting according to the rules of conduct established and recognized by him and not complying with the mandatory rules of conduct established by the state.

On the base of the sufficient evidence obtained through preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding public criminal prosecution had been initiated against three members of the group with criminal subculture according to the Part 1 of the Article 324 of RA Criminal Code and detention had been used as a pretrial measure against them.

During preliminary investigation one of the members of the mentioned group V.M. turned himself to the Investigative Committee, was arrested and detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Public criminal prosecution was also initiated against the leader of the group E.J. known as “Ero Tomski” who is in the Kingdom of Spain, detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him. Relevant measures are taken to find him.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
