Charge pressed against the employee of “K. Telecom” for swindling charge cards with total amount of more than 750 million AMD

In the framework of preliminary investigation of the criminal case being investigated in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of RA Investigative Committee on 27 November, 2014 a charge was pressed against Syuniq service centers responsible of the Division of Customer Service and Complaint of the Department for Sales and Customer Service of “Karabakh Telecom” CJSC Ashot Kuyumjyan for swindling charge cards with total amount of more than 750 million AMD.
 

Through preliminary investigation it was found that he has been working in Kapan Customer Service of “Karabakh Telecom” CJSC as a senior coordinator since 21 August, 2006. Since 26 July, 2010 he has been the responsible for Syuniq service centers of the Division of Customer Service and Complaint of the Department for Sales and Customer Service of “Karabakh Telecom” CJSC.
 

From 2010 to 16 October, 2014 A. Kuyumjyan received material values, including 717.579 charge cards of 1.000, 2.000 and 4.500 AMD from the storehouse of the same company located in Yerevan for Syuniq service centers of  “Karabakh Telecom” CJSC.
 

According to the investigation data through embezzlement he swindled 702.779 charge cards of 1.000, 2.000 and 4.500 AMD belonging to the company which were entrusted to him.
 

Through combination of sufficient evidence obtained in the framework of the criminal case on 27 November, 2014 Ashot Kuyumjyan was charged according to the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 179 of RA Criminal Code. On the same day imprisonment for 2 months was chosen as a pretrial measure against Ashot Kuyumjyan by the Court of First Instance of Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts.
 

Preliminary investigation is under way.
