Investigation is conducted in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out circumstances of 34 year-old man's murder. One person was arrested on suspicion of committing murder.

On November 9, 2018 at about 19:00 S. Barseghyan, born in 1984, with cut-pierced injuries was taken to «Armenia» medical center from the yard of one of the houses of H. Emin Str., Yerevan. During the operation the latter died.

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code.34 year-old man was found the injured party.

Inspection of the scene was conducted, blood-like traces were found, samples were taken. The clothes the victim was wearing at the moment of the incident were confiscated from the medical center on which there were blood-like traces and cut, torn parts. The transport means used by the victim was examined, witnesses were questioned. During preliminary investigation the samples of S. Barseghyan's nails and finger prints were received.

In the result of urgent investigatory and operative-searching measures a number of circumstances of murder, the motive were found out, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he is a resident of Yerevan, born in 1982. The latter was arrested on suspicion of murdering S. Barseghyan and questioned.

Pursuant to initial data, on the day of the incident a row erupted between S. Barseghyan and the person having committed the alleged crime which turned into brawl. Inspection of the scene was conducted with the latter's participation, the samples of the nails and blood of the person having committed the alleged crime were received.

Forensic medical examination of the body, forensic medical, forensic biological and forensic trace examinations were commissioned to find out circumstances significant for the criminal case. Necessary measures are taken to verify the circumstances mentioned in testimonies.

The investigator submitted a motion to court to conduct searches which was sufficed.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing, necessary measures are taken to find out all circumstances of murder, to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation.
