Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on abuses committed in School N 1 after Stepan Shahumyan was completed in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee. Charge was pressed against the school headmaster, economist and the employee of technical section.

Through investigation sufficient evidence were obtained on the allegation that K. Sakanyan, being the headmaster of School N 1 after Stepan Shahumyan since 2012, has constantly squandered money in particularly large amount with the help of the economist and technical section employee of the school.

On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against the school headmaster according to the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 179 and the Part 1 of the Article 308 of RA Criminal Code. Charge was pressed against the economist according to the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 38-179 and the Part 1 of the Article 38-308 of RA Criminal Code, and against the technical section employee – according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 38-179 and the Part 1 of the Article 38-308 of RA Criminal Code.

The criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to prosecutor supervising the legality of preliminary investigation.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
