A criminal case initiated on bombing “Shant” TV film crew committed by enemy
On May 10, 2017 at about 18:00 the film crew of “Shant” TV passing through the combat base of protection area of the unit N of Defense Army was bombed by the enemy.
Particularly, the enemy fired towards the car of the film crew of the program “At posts” of Shant TV from large-caliber weapons – sniper rifles and machine guns in the result of which the program operator Davit Atoyan sustained firearm injury and was taken to hospital.
A criminal case was initiated in the Third Garrison Investigative Unit according to the Points 1, 6 and 13 of the Part 2 of the Article 34-104 of RA Criminal Code – attempt of illegal willful deprivation of life of two or more persons committed by the enemy in a way dangerous for life of many people out of motives of national, race or religious hate or fanatism. Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
