As a result of large-scale evidentiary and procedural actions, including numerous searches, about two dozen interrogations, conducted in the course of the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding investigated in Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee, one of the individuals having committed a preparation of murder against the RA Prime Minister was identified. 

Particularly, apparent factual data were obtained on the allegation that M.M., living in a foreign state from 2024, with at least 4 individuals in a group, acquired funds and created conditions with the intent to unlawfully deprive the Prime Minister of life in connection with the performance of his political and state activities. Specifically, in order to conceal their identities, they purchased clothing and masks, they also gathered information about the whereabouts and campaign routes of the RA Prime Minister, thus preparing the murder. Then, in the mentioned clothing and mask, they recorded and distributed a video message addressed to the RA Prime Minister, during which they made threats.

In addition, on May 16, 2026, individuals intercepted the data (video) stored on a website system not intended for general use, transmitted live using computer communication means, and published the video message, thereby hindering the pre-election campaign preceding the RA NA elections to be held on June 7, 2026.

Public criminal prosecution was initiated against M.M. according to the Points 1 and 8 of the Part 2 of the Article 43-155 of RA Criminal Code, the Points 2 and 5 of the Part 2 of the Article 211 of RA Criminal Code.

A decision on arrest was issued with respect to him.
