Husband regularly Caused Strong Physical Pain and Mental Sufferance to Wife driving her to Suicide: Preliminary Investigation of Criminal Proceeding Completed

As a result of large-scale investigative and procedural actions conducted in the course of the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated in Gegharkunik Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee it was found out that the husband regularly caused strong physical pain and mental sufferance to his wife during their life together, driving the wife to suicide.

Besides, it was also found out that the husband illegally procured and kept 38 combat bullets at his residence.

Public criminal prosecution was initiated against him according to the Point 8 of the Part 2 of the Article 196, the Point 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 162 and the Part 1 of the Article 335 of RA Criminal Code.

The criminal proceeding with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor for approval and referral to court.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
