In the course of the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding investigated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee, apparent factual data were obtained on the allegation that on August 9, 2025 during the argument between the parties that took place in Vanadzor, M.K. hit K.B. for several times with a cutting-piercing item he had, on his chest and neck, causing heavy damage to his health. After it N.B. fired shots in the direction of M.K. and E.B. from a firearm procured illegally. 

Public criminal prosecution was initiated against N.B. according to the Points 4 and 6 of the Part 2 of the Article 166, the Points 6 and 8 of the Part 2 of the Article 167 and the Part 1 of the Article 335 of RA Criminal Code, and against M.K. – according to the Part 1 of the Article 44-155 of RA Criminal Code. 

Detention was applied as a pretrial measure against one person, and home detention against the other. 

The criminal proceeding with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor.
