Person accused of killing partner Detained
In the course of preliminary investigation initiated in Gegharkunik Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee apparent factual data were obtained on the allegation that on February 12, 2025 in one of the settlements of Sevan community during the quarrel the spouse hit N.N. with hands and feet for numerous times on different parts of her body, causing physical pain and bodily injuries. After it N.N. poured a container full of sulfuric acid over her partner's body. As a result, the latter died.
Public criminal prosecution was initiated against N.N. according to the Point 9 of the Part 2 of the Article 155 of RA Criminal Code.
A motion was submitted to court to apply detention as a pretrial measure against N.N.. It was sufficed.
The criminal proceeding with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor.
