In the result of investigatory and other procedural actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee the motive of 20 year-old young man's murder was found out, sufficient actual data were obtained on the allegation that murder had been committed at the area of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district then the body was taken to another area to cover up the tracks

It was earlier informed that a young man's body burnt and tied with a metal wire, with cut-pierced injuries on the neck was found on the morning of May 17, 2018 in the pit on the left part of the second section of the third cemetery of Silikyan district. 

In the result of urgent investigatory and operative-searching measures taken in the framework of the criminal case initiated in the RA IC Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code the victim was identified; he is a resident of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district, born in 1998, the real place, motive of murder were found out, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified.

Particularly, through preliminary investigation actual data were obtained on the allegation that 20 year-old young man had been murdered in a garage at the area of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district. During the quarrel the person having committed the alleged crime stabbed the victim on the neck. Then with the purpose of covering up the crime tracks he took the body to the cemetery of Silikyan district. There he poured out oil and petrol on the body and burnt it.

The suspect was arrested and questioned. Inspection of the site was conducted with his participation during which he told about the circumstances of the case.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Measures are taken to verify the circumstances mentioned in the suspect’s testimonies, to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of circumstances of the case.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
