Preliminary Investigation of Criminal Proceeding on 18 Leaders and Participants of Movement Called “Sacred Struggle” Completed
Preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding on the separated part on 18 leaders and participants of the movement called “Sacred Struggle” was completed in General Department for Investigation of Crimes against the State, Fundamentals of the Constitutional Order and Public Security of the RA Investigative Committee.
It should be reminded that in the course of preliminary investigation public criminal prosecution was initiated against 18 persons among leaders and participants of the movement, according to the Part 1 of the Article 43-308 and the Part 1 of the Article 43-419 of RA Criminal Code.
Detention was applied as a pretrial measure against 17 of them, administrative control and absence ban – against 1 person.
The criminal proceeding on 18 individuals with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor for approval and referral to court.
