The Chairman of the Investigative Committee Received the Ambassador of India to the RA

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, Artur Poghosyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to the RA, Nilakshi Saha Sinha.

Artur Poghosyan welcomed Nilakshi Sinha in the RA Investigative Committee, emphasizing the cooperation established between the law enforcement bodies of the two countries, which is based on mutual respect and friendship.

The Ambassador expressed gratitude for the initiative of the meeting and assured that bilateral cooperation will continue to develop.

During the meeting the parties discussed programs related to experience exchange, investigators’ trainings, as well as issues on mutual legal assistance.

Appreciating India's role as a leading and trusted partner in the field of digital investigation, international legal cooperation, Artur Poghosyan referred to the need for capacity development for investigators in specific areas, which can contribute to development of their professional capacities.

An agreement was reached between the parties to organize trainings and courses in India to enhance the professional skills of the Investigative Committee employees, which will aim to make the capabilities of investigators in the fields of cyber security and information security more effective through the experience exchange.

At the end of the meeting the parties recorded that the international queries are fully implemented and the cooperation in the field of legal mutual assistance continues to develop.
