Case of Banditry Disclosed in 2 Days; Preliminary Investigation of Criminal Proceeding Completed
Preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated on June 12, 2025 in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee was completed on June 30.
In the course of preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding apparent factual data were obtained on the allegation that on June 12 2 persons, leaving for Vanadzor, used violence against a foreigner, who had joined them on the way, causing bodily damages to the latter. As a result, the citizens managed to steal the victim’s wallet, bank cards and driving license.
On June 14 public criminal prosecution was initiated against 2 persons according to the Points 3 and 5 of the Part 2 of the Article 252 of RA Criminal Code.
On June 15 detention was applied as a pretrial measure against them.
On June 30 preliminary investigation with the bill of indictment was sent to court.
