Preliminary Investigation of Criminal Proceeding on 10 more Individuals Involved in Mass Disorder in Yerevan in 2020, Completed
Preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding regarding the mass disorders organized in Yerevan on November 10, 2020 is ongoing in General Department for Investigation of Crimes against the State, Fundamentals of the Constitutional Order and Public Security of the RA Investigative Committee.
As a result of numerous investigative and procedural actions it was grounded that on November 10 H.S., S.H., N.M.,A.J., Sh.K., Ye․ S., G.․Gh․, H.Z.․ M.A., S.M., learning that there was a crowd at the administrative building of the RA Government and mass disorders were being committed, went to the mentioned place and joined those involved in mass disorder.
Particularly, getting over the police barricade together with others involved in mass disorder, they approached the main and adjacent entrance doors and windows of the government building, complementing the actions of other people, they hit the entrance doors and windows for several times with hands and feet. As a result, they were spoilt, and then opened.
After it, ignoring the protection regime of specially protected areas, with the intent to continue the mass disorder inside the Government building, they illegally entered the building without obstacles and took part in mass disorder. As a result, the doors of a number of offices of government members and staff, the property available in the halls were broken, state and private property necessary for the normal functioning of the executive branch was damaged or destroyed on a particularly large scale․ As a result, the activities of the RA Government have been disrupted and public security has been endangered.
Public criminal prosecution was initiated against H.S., S.H., N.M.,A.J., Sh.K., Ye․ S., G.․Gh․, H.Z.․ M.A., S.M. for committing the mentioned committals according to the Part 1 of the Article 327 of RA Criminal Code.
The criminal proceeding with the bill of indictment on them was sent to the prosecutor for approval and referral to court.
Preliminary investigation on others is ongoing. Active evidentiary and other procedural actions are conducted to find the participants and organizers of mass disorders, as well as to take criminal law enforcement measures, regarding which the Investigative Committee will issue an official statement.
