In the course of the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated in Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee apparent factual data were obtained on the allegation that on October 18, 2025 a group of individuals materially encouraged others to participate in the gathering supporting S.K..

During the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding public criminal prosecution was initiated against G.S. according to the Part 2 of the Article 236 of RA Criminal Code, against B.S. and H.M. according to the Part 2 of the Article 46-236 of RA Criminal Code.

Detention was applied as a pretrial measure against H.M.. Preliminary investigation is ongoing. 

The Investigative Committee warns that obstructing or coercing the holding or participation in a gathering, as well as materially encouraging participation or refusal to participate in a gathering, envisaged by the Part 2 of the Article 236 of RA Criminal Code, is subject to criminal liability and is punishable by imprisonment for a term of up to three years.

Considering that numerous cases of materially encouraging participation in gatherings have recently been recorded, the Investigative Committee urges everyone to demonstrate law-abiding behavior and to refrain from engaging in similar criminal acts.
