Person Received Funds under the Pretext of Bribing Officials to Exempt Conscripts from Mandatory Military Service
In the course of preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding investigated in the Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of General Military Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee apparent factual data were obtained on the allegation that the resident of Gegharkunik region undertook the process of obtaining fake medical documents for a number of residents of Vayots Dzor and Gegharkunik regions and exempting them from mandatory military service in exchange for a certain amount of money. However, under unforeseen circumstances he could not complete the crime, as it was disclosed by the employees of the RA National Security Service.
Public criminal prosecution was initiated against K. S. according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 46-44-436 (2 counts), the Part 1 of the Article 46-44-436 (2 counts) and the Part 2 of the Article 440 (4 counts) of RA Criminal Code. Public criminal prosecution was initiated against 4 individuals according to the Point 1 of the part 2 of the Article 44-436 of RA Criminal Code, against 2 individuals – according to the Part 1 of the Article 44-436 of RA Criminal Code.
The criminal proceeding with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor.
