In the course of preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding investigated in the Department for Investigation of Cybercrime and High Technology Crime of General Department for Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee, it was found out that M.B. had acquired and stored videos containing child pornography on his mobile phone.

Then, in a statement published on the Telegram messaging app channel, he offered videos containing child pornography to unidentified individuals and sent them via email to users who had expressed a desire to watch them.

Public criminal prosecution was initiated against M.B. according to the Part 2 of the Article 300 of RA Criminal Code.

Detention was imposed as a pretrial measure on him.

The criminal proceeding with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor for approval and referral to court.
