Within the criminal proceeding investigated in General Department for Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee apparent factual data were obtained on the allegation that A.A. and A.A., who has a criminal rank, participated in the group led by A.J., who holds the highest rank in the criminal hierarchy.

Particularly, participating in the group with a criminal subculture led by A.J., between 2023 and 2024, by the latter’s instruction A.A. carried out illegal collection of funds, and the illegal income obtained as a result of it was possessed by A.J. and sent to several penitentiaries in Armenia.

Besides, on January 11, 2024 A.A. learning about stabbing case between two persons in a district in Alaverdi town on December 18, 2023, took up to resolve the mentioned private issue.

Going on participating in the group with a criminal subculture, on January 20, 2024 A.A.  established contact with A.A., who has the highest status in the criminal hierarchy and presenting the above-mentioned private issue, through the latter received permission from A.J. for one of the parties to resolve the dispute through violence, threats, coercion, or other illegal actions, in accordance with the rules of conduct established and recognized by the criminal subculture group.

Public criminal prosecution was initiated against A.A. according to the Part 1 of the Article 324 of RA Criminal Code, against A.J. according to the Part 1 of the Article 322 and the Point 5 of the Part 2 of the Article 323 of RA Criminal Code, against A.A. according to the Part 1 of the Article 322 and the Point 5 of the Part 3 of the Article 324 of RA Criminal Code.

Detention was applied as a pretrial measure against them.

Criminal proceeding on A.A.’s part, with the bill of indictment, was sent to the prosecutor for approval and referal to court.
