Schoolchildren in the Investigative Committee: Emphasizing Investigator-Pupil Communication
Middle and senior grade students of Primary School No. 5 named after Haykaz Tchgnavoryan in Ararat region were hosted by the Investigative Committee.
The Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee Arsen Ayvazyan welcomed the guests expressing gratitude for the initiative.
Arsen Ayvazyan emphasized the importance of investigator-student and investigator-pupil communication, noting that investigators have visited various schools in the Republic of Armenia for awareness-raising purposes. The Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee introduced the structure of the Investigative Committee, as well as the essence, peculiarities and complexities of the investigator's work to the schoolchildren.
Emphasizing the importance of raising teenagers' legal awareness and encouraging law-abiding behavior, investigator for particularly important cases of the Department for Investigation of Crimes on Human Trafficking, against Sexual Immunity of Juveniles and Illegal Turnover of Drugs of General Department for Investigation of Particularly Important Cases, Eduard Tumaghayan provided students with information on child trafficking and its manifestations, the consequences of carrying cold weapons, criminal subculture, the fight against it, and involving minors in the commission of a crime.
During the active question-and-answer session, comprehensive answers were given to all of the schoolchildren's questions.
As part of the meeting, the students toured the administrative building of the Investigative Committee.
