As a Result of Investigative Actions Found out that what was Committed on January 21, 2022 was not Suicide, but Murder with Prior Agreement by a Group of People
Exclusively as a result of investigative actions conducted in the course of the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding investigated in Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee, it was found out that what was committed on January 21, 2022 was not a suicide, but a murder committed with prior agreement.
Particularly, as a result of large-scale evidentiary and procedural actions conducted within the framework of the criminal proceeding, it was found out that in 2020, I.A. moved from Vanadzor to Yerevan for educational purposes and took up residence, together with A.T. and E.M., spouses who were close to him and his family, in their apartment.
On the day preceding the incident, a dispute occurred between I.A. and A.T. at their place of residence, during which I.A. sustained a life-threatening bodily injury as a result of at least one blow with a blunt object, after which the spouses threw the victim out of the kitchen window of the mentioned apartment. As a result, the latter died on February 10, 2022.
On March 24, 2022 public criminal prosecution was initiated against the spouses according to the Point 7 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code adopted on 18.04.2003.
Detention was applied as a pretrial measure against A.T., absence ban – against E. M.
Preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding is ongoing.
