On February 24, 2026 Artur Poghosyan, the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee received Bolat Imanbayev, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Armenia. 

Artur Poghosyan noted with satisfaction that within the framework of the effective cooperation established between the law enforcement bodies of the two countries, the legal queries sent to one another are being properly executed.

The Ambassador expressed gratitude to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee for the daily work carried out between the two law enforcement bodies, emphasizing that due to the close cooperation the legitimate interests and rights of the citizens of Kazakhstan are protected, as well as prompt solutions are provided to various issues.

At the end of the meeting the parties noted that through joint efforts they can make the international legal cooperation carried out within the framework of criminal proceedings initiated in Armenia and Kazakhstan more effective, including in the fight against transnational crime, corruption-related and economic crimes, as well as crimes committed using information technologies.
