Husband poured Gasoline on Wife Causing Burns
In the course of preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated in the RA Investigative Committee apparent factual data were obtained on the allegation that the husband, being under the influence of alcohol, poured gasoline on his wife, which also spilled on the tablecloth, then set the tablecloth on fire, during which the fire spread from the tablecloth to the woman.
As a result of the above-mentioned actions the woman received burns. Meanwhile, the daughter who came to help, also suffered bodily injuries.
Public criminal prosecution was initiated against the husband according to the Point 9 of the Part 2 of the Article 155 of RA Criminal Code.
Detention was applied as a pretrial measure against the latter.
