A Board meeting, chaired by Artur Poghosyan, was held today, during which the Chairman of the Investigative Committee introduced Vahe Mirzoyan, Head of General Department for Control over Activity of Territorial Investigative Departments.

Board members and the heads of structural subdivisions took part in the meeting. 

Artur Poghosyan, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee congratulated the head of the general department on the appointment emphasizing the latter's long service in the system, his high professional and human qualities․

Vahe Mirzoyan expressed gratitude to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee for the trust and opportunity to serve the state and assured that all the necessary measures will be taken by the general department to record positive results and to implement the tasks set before the subdivisions. 

Artur Poghosyan thanked Gevorg Baghdasaryan, Head of General Department for Investigation of Crimes against the State, Fundamentals of the Constitutional Order and Public Security, for long-term service and the role in the establishment of a professional structural unit, and expressed confidence that the staff of the general department will continue to fulfill the tasks set before the department with the same consistency and diligence.
