In the course of preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated in Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee apparent factual data were obtained on the allegation that a man, kidnapping the minor, committed violent sexual actions against the latter. The man also attempted to commit the same actions against another minor; however, he could not complete the crime under unforeseen circumstances, as his actions were prevented by the people around. 

Public criminal prosecution was initiated against the man according to the Point 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 191, the Point 3 of the Part 3 of the Article 198 and the Points 2 and 3 of the Part 3 of the Article 44-198 of RA Criminal Code. 

Detention was applied as a pretrial measure against him. 

The criminal proceeding with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor for approval and referral to court.
