Preliminary Investigation on 7 more Persons Involved in Mass Disorder in Yerevan, in 2020 Completed

 

As we have already informed, preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding on mass disorder organized on November 10, 2020 in Yerevan, is ongoing in General Department for Investigation of Crimes against the State, Fundamentals of the Constitutional Order and Public Security of the RA Investigative Committee. 

In the course of the preliminary investigation it was found out that during the mass disorder various property, gold jewelry, including cash in particularly large amount, as well as important and official other documents were obviously stolen from the working rooms and buildings of the RA Government, National Assembly, as well as from the official residence allocated to the RA Prime Minister. 

In the result of large-scale investigative and procedural actions conducted in June-July, 2025, in the course of preliminary investigation by the investigator to identify those having committed the apparent crime, 7 more persons, involved in mass disorder combined with damaging property in the RA Government’s building, were identified. 

Public criminal prosecution was initiated against A.K., H.T., H.S., V.E., V,G. and Y.A. according to the Part 1 of the Article 327 of RA Criminal Code, and against K.V. according to the Point 2 of the Part 2 of the Article 253 of RA Criminal Code. 

Administrative supervision and absence ban were used as a pretrial measure against them. 

The criminal proceeding on 7 persons with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor for approval and referral to court. 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
