Polyclinic Nurses Took Bribe for not Vaccinating a Number of People but Providing them with Certificates Certifying they had been Vaccinated

In the course of preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding apparent factual data were obtained on the allegation that the polyclinic nurse, with the help of a group of individuals, took a bribe of 500 thousand AMD from various individuals between February and April 2022. The nurse kept a part of the bribe for herself and transferred the other part to two nurses at the polyclinic to not vaccinate people who paid bribes, but to provide them with false certificates certifying that they had been vaccinated.

Public criminal prosecution was initiated against three individuals according to the Part 2 of the Article 200, against three individuals – according to the Part 2 of the Article 38-200 of RA Criminal Code adopted on 18.04.2003.

The criminal proceeding with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
