A Board session headed by Artur Poghosyan was held today, during which the Chairman of the Investigative Committee introduced Artur Chakhoyan, Deputy Head of General Department for Control over Activity of Territorial Investigative Departments, Lernik Stepanyan, Head of the Department for Investigation of Crimes on Torture and Abusing or Exceeding Authorities by Officials through Using Violence of General Department for Investigation of Particularly Important Cases, Shiraz Grigoryan, the Head of the Department for Investigation of Cybercrime and High Technology Crime of General Department for Investigation of Particularly Important Cases and Davit Ghazakhetsyan, the Head of the Fifth Department of General Department for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Smuggling of the RA Investigative Committee.

The Board members and heads of the structural subdivisions took part in the session.

Congratulating the deputy head of the general department and heads of the three departments on the appointment, Artur Poghosyan, the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee highlighted their high professional and human qualities, the long-standing path in the system, and expressed confidence that they will properly implement the tasks set for subordinate structural units.

The newly-appointed officials thanked the Chairman of the Investigative Committee for the trust and opportunity to serve the state.

Artur Poghosyan also thanked Robert Adilkhanyan, the former head of the Department for Investigation of Cybercrime and High Technology Crime for long-term service and role in the establishment of a professional structural unit.
