Damage Caused to State in the Amount of 52 Million AMD Recovered

On August 7, 2024 a criminal proceeding was initiated in Atrmavir Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on cases of illegal business activities and land degradation.

In the course of preliminary investigation apparent factual data were obtained on the allegation that one of the companies operating in the RA, under the pretext of building a fish farm on the land acquired on a lease basis in the administrative territory of one of the settlements of Armavir region, carried out illegal extraction and sale of sand and gravel mixture. As a result, damage in the amount of 52 million 37 thousand 88 AMD was caused to the state which was fully recovered.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
