Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on willful infliction of heavy bodily damage to health was completed in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee. Charge was pressed against 50 year-old resident of Gegharkunik.
Through comprehensive, complete and objective investigation a number of circumstances were found out.
Pursuant to factual data obtained through investigation on July 16, 2018 at about 20:00 50 year-old woman argued over domestic affairs with her acquaintance – the resident of Yerevan, born in 1963, during which approaching the latter at the area adjacent to 90, Simon Vratsyan willfully poured petrol on 55 year-old man’s body and burnt him.
55 year-old man was caused heavy damage threatening to life.
On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against 50 year-old woman according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. Signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against her.
Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to court.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
