I congratulate You on the Day of the Employee of the Investigative Committee.
The investigative bodies are the impetus of the pretrial proceeding and the role of the Investigative Committee is one of the primaries. I am confident that it will be the same tomorrow, as well in conditions of changed relations of state bodies. The expectations from your activities will not be less in future than today.
Due to high professionalism of all the employees of the Investigative Committee, their clear civic position and everyday hard work the implacable fight against corruption and crimes, in general, has considerably been activated, the cooperation between law enforcement bodies as well as civil society institutions has been strengthened which is one of the reliable prerequisites of society protection from criminal encroachments.
Nevertheless, we have still much to do and each of you must carry out his everyday service duties refusing manifestations not perceptible for society, based on the best traditions of the system, displaying will and endurance to meet the expectations of our fellow citizens who have adopted an unacceptable attitude towards illegality.
We will be proud of the investigators who perceive these realities adequately, for whom devoted service to the state and law, devotedness to the work and state thinking are not just words but guidelines of daily work.
I am confident that with principles, diligence, experience, high professional knowledge and new approaches to organization of work we will be able to carry out complicated and hard functions envisaged for service with honor.
