On December 22, 2020 a criminal case was initiated according to the Part 1 of the Article 226.2 of RA Criminal Code on making a note on apparent calls for violence in “Facebook” social website by Sayat Shirinyan “Cусанна Авшарян, if I were the leader of the movement be sure that we would take specific steps, though I don’t criticize the organizers as they avoid bloodshed. But it is already clear that it is impossible without bloodshed.”
On December 23, 2020 Sayat Shirinyan was arrested on suspicion of making a note on public calls for violence envisaged by the Part 1 of the Article 226.2 of RA Criminal Code.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
