Graduates of Academy of Justice involved in list of candidates appointed in RA Investigative Committee (Photos)

On December 13 a solemn ceremony dedicated to awarding diploma to graduates of the Academy of Justice involved in the list of candidates of investigators was held in the RA Investigative Committee. The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Aghvan Hovsepyan, Rector of the Academy of Justice Sergey Araqelyan, Board members of the RA Investigative Committee took part in it.

Together with diplomas, 25 candidates of investigators also received the RA IC Chairman’s orders on employment in territorial subdivisions of the RA Investigative Committee and from today on they will take up their posts. Among them was a participant of April war Gagik Hovhannisyan who will carry out his service in the Second Garrison Investigative Unit of General Military Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee as an investigator.

“A good tradition has been formed in the Investigative Committee; together with diplomas the candidates of investigators receive the orders of work assignment, as well. The reaction is positive, this procedure of employment creates positive atmosphere for our institution. During these three years we managed to create an atmosphere in which corruption manifestations in the procedure of being employed in the Investigative Committee, being appointed in posts, receiving titles are excluded”, congratulating the newly appointed investigators said the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Aghvan Hovsepyan mentioning that the procedure of graduates’ employment will be maintained in future, as well.

According to the RA Law “On the RA Investigative Committee” the professional training of candidates of investigators is kept for the Academy of Justice. Total duration of teaching candidates of investigators is envisaged to be about 8 months (the first group – from March 1 to November 4, 2016) including 20 weeks of probation period. Professional training is carried out by full time teaching – in the ways of classroom teaching and probation. The total number of learning hours is envisaged to be 1670 academic hours.
