On April 20, 2021 at 20:10 a call was received in Mush Police Division from “Gyumri Ambulance Station” CJSC informing that 63 year-old resident of Gyumri with cut-pierced wounds on the left part of the chest and abdomen, dead was taken to medical center from a house on Shirakatsi Street, Gyumri.
On the same day a criminal case was initiated in Shirak Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 (murder) of RA Criminal Code.
During preliminary investigation inspection of the scene was conducted, the knife which was the crime tool was found and taken, a number of people were questioned, forensic medical examination of the body was commissioned.
Husband was arrested on suspicion of 63 year-old wife’s murder.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Investigative and other procedural actions are conducted to find out all circumstances of the case.
