RA IC Chairman Hayk Grigoryan received today the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of United Arab Emirates in Armenia Jassim Mohammad Al Kassimi.
RA IC Chairman attached importance to establishment and development of efficient cooperation with UAE law enforcement bodies.
«Under conditions of expansion of cooperation between two countries, growth of tourists' mutual visits significant importance is attached to close and operative cooperation between the law enforcement bodies. Efficient cooperation is an important precondition for efficient fight against crime, protection of rights of citizens affected by crime», mentioned Hayk Grigoryan at the same time emphasizing the necessity of implementation of motions on international legal aid in tight deadlines.
Ambassador Al Kassimi stated that his country is interested in developing, expanding cooperation with Armenia in most different spheres and stated that interest growth in Armenia is also noticed among their citizens.
The Ambassador mentioned that a great number of tourists visit Armenia considering it as a safe country and in this context he also emphasized the significance of cooperation between the law enforcement bodies of the two countries.
The Ambassador expressed willingness to contribute to establishment of closer cooperation between Armenia and UAE's law enforcement bodies, particularly investigative bodies. The parties arranged to discuss in working order new directions for cooperation development and format proposals.
